DeskCam has a simple interface for managing your web cams.
Click once on the DeskCam icon and the pop-up menu will appear.
Move your mouse on top of the Cameras item, and a fly-out sub-menu will
appear to one side of the pop-up menu. From that list, select Camera List...
The Camera List is a list of all the web cams DeskCam knows about.
If you let DeskCam download a default list, you will see a list of web cams.
Camera List
To add a new camera, click on Add. This produces a small dialog box where you enter your camera
information, consisting of the description (however you wish to describe this camera), a URL that
points directly to the image (this is the bit that starts with "http://"), and the refresh
(which is how long DeskCam waits between getting pictures).
Enter the information and click OK to put it in the list. Click OK to close the
dialog, and DeskCam will fetch an image from your new camera and put it on your desktop background.
